Representatives’ Messages

Message from the Japanese Representative

We are delighted to hold the 24th Japan–Korea Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition in Kobe, a sister city of Incheon.

This exhibition has long served as a bridge of mutual understanding between artists from Japan and Korea, and we are grateful to all who made its continuation possible.

As we mark the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between our two nations, this exhibition offers a meaningful opportunity to reaffirm the cultural ties that connect us.

May the works presented here inspire dialogue and resonate in the hearts of all visitors.

Message from the Korean Representative

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all art lovers, participating artists, and everyone at the Kitano Museum for their warm support of the 24th Japan–Korea Contemporary Art Exchange Exhibition.

We especially wish to honor the senior artists who have led and nurtured this exhibition over the past 30 years.
As the new Korean representative, I feel a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude for this opportunity to exhibit in Kobe and to work alongside our Japanese counterparts.

Building upon the strong foundation laid by our predecessors, we will continue to guide this exhibition toward the future, fostering friendship and understanding between Korea and Japan through art.
May this exhibition strengthen the bonds between us and inspire a brighter, more harmonious future.
